It is the policy of DCLC that all aspects of the analytical data generated and processed in the laboratory, subject to EPA, DOE or other project specific requirements, be of known and acceptable quality. It is the intention of the Quality Assurance Program to establish and assure that an effective quality management system is maintained in order to meet the quality requirements of the intended uses of the data. The Quality Policy also confirms the commitment of the laboratory management and personnel to comply with the requirements of all certification programs in which the laboratory participates, including compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, the Ohio Voluntary Action Program (Ohio VAP), the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP), the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), and the Environmental Laboratory Lead Accreditation Program (ELLAP). All laboratory personnel are familiar with the quality policy and quality procedures found in the Quality Assurance Program Plan and/or in laboratory standard operating procedures. All laboratory personnel are responsible for the implementation of quality practices in all aspects of their work associated with preparing, processing and reporting analytical information.
